  • Access data: IP address, browser type, visit date/time, referring site. This is logged automatically for website operation and security in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

  • Embedded YouTube videos (privacy-enhanced mode):

    • We embed videos using the “privacy-enhanced mode” (via youtube-nocookie.com and ?privacy_mode=1).

    • Before playback: No cookies or tracking occur.

    • After user plays a video: YouTube may collect your IP and other data, possibly set cookies and connect to Google/DoubleClick servers .

    • Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), since playback triggers data transfer to the US.

    • You can avoid this by logging out of YouTube before visiting our site.

  • Other third-party tools: None currently in use (e.g., no Google Analytics). If added later, we’ll inform you upfront and seek consent where required.

3. Cookies & Consent

  • Before any YouTube video is played, no cookies are set by YouTube/Google .

  • Once you click “play,” YouTube may set cookies like YSC or CONSENT, which can last a session or longer.

  • We implement a placeholder or consent tool so no external content loads before you consent .

4. Data Transfer to the USA

  • YouTube/Google (USA) may receive data via servers in Ireland and the US.

  • They are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, ensuring GDPR-level protection.

5. Your Rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Request access, correction, erasure, or restriction of your personal data.

  • Object to processing or withdraw consent at any time (future visits only).

  • Request data portability and lodge complaints with a supervisory authority (e.g., Schleswig-Holstein).
